Happy New Year

I am just popping in to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year! I hope 2010 is everything you want it to be.

Am I done yet?

Sometimes I start a project and I get lost in it. It is as though I am enjoying the journey so much that the destination becomes hazy. That is pretty much what happened when I was making my Menagerie necklace. It is a free style peyote necklace that I started this summer. After every addition I came up with another idea that I wanted to explore. I was really having fun in the making of this piece. I loved working with all the colors and textures. It was an adventure in beading! I waited a long time to list this piece in my shop because I really didn't want to finish it!

Still Trying Figure Things Out

This is not as easy as I thought it was going to be. I can't get my photos where I want them to be or the size I want them to be. I don't know - maybe there should be some kind of restriction against middle aged technically challenged women trying to blog. Well at least I was able to figure out the translation thing - all my posts were being translated into Hindu. That really was really weird. Next I have to figure out what is an "Html". If anybody knows How I am supposed to use this please let me know. OHHHHHH! I think I found something in the tool bar - yup! I see now that I don't have to add "gadgets" to add photos. Lets give this a try!! This is a photo of me at my computer. I am trying not to look frustrated as I am trying to figure out this blog stuff.

I Can't Believe I Am Doing This!

I have no idea how to navigate this site but I am willing to learn. I am trying to figure out how to add a link to my etsy shop and how to add photos of my work. I was going to write about my process as I create my beadwork. This might turn out to be more about my process as I try to figure out the blogger site! The question is: can a 50 year old, stay at home, "beady eyed" mama learn to blog? We shall see..
